Shake Shake Mischief Makers

Personal work, few hours. I've been trying to work a better balance of personal/commissioned artworks. I find if I do something for myself every few days/weeks I end up 10x more productive, I need that reminder that art isn't just a 'job' once in awhile.

This here is Marina from Mischief Makers, one of my fave N64 games ♥ I remember back in the day I used to pause the game and try to draw her, I never could. She was just soooo hard for me with her crazy ass legs and exaggerated features. Now, I gotta say I can and I'm really proud of this piece. I played with a few new techniques like integrating thick lineart into the surrounding color scheme. I had so much fun with this, I'm super inspired now! Gonna spend the day tomorrow working on commissions with a smile. This just felt so good. I hardly have the time to color works nowadays.
